Ahmet Mert Yazıcı

Mert focuses on designing and developing scalable applications, backend services, data-driven solutions, and user-facing platforms at Datart Lab. He is currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering with a double major in Business Administration at Koç University.

Egecan Aktan, BSc

Egecan’s work focuses on perishable lot sizing, with broader interests on simulation, optimization, and artificial intelligence applied to logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation. He is pursuing an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering at Özyeğin University, where he also earned his B.Sc. in the same field.

Enes Tanrıkulu

Enes is passionate about optimization and mathematical modeling, contributing to the design and implementation of data-driven decision support systems. His current work focuses on large-scale scheduling problems with practical industry applications. He is pursuing a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering with a track in Machine Learning, alongside a Double Major in Computer Engineering at Koç University.

Erhun Kundakcıoğlu, PhD

Dr. Erhun Kundakcıoğlu is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University and Director of the Datart Lab. His research centers on decision analytics and mathematical optimization. He earned a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. Previously, he held faculty positions at the University of Houston and Özyeğin University, and served as a Director and Distinguished Scientist at Optym.

Esma Nehir Vardar

Nehir explores operations research, develops real-life solutions, and learns how data and algorithms are applied to practical problems at Datart Lab, while studying Computer Science at Özyeğin University, where she is pursuing a B.Sc. with a minor in Industrial Engineering.

Muhammed Esad Simitcioğlu, MSc

Esad specializes in privacy, machine learning, and software engineering, with strong expertise in full-stack development and system integration. He is a lead developer at Datart Lab, where he contributes to optimization engines and decision analytics platforms. He earned his M.Sc. in Computer Science from Koç University.

Nurullah Y. Duru, BSc

Nurullah’s research centers on perishable food supply chains, with broader interests in the integration of machine learning and optimization algorithms. He is also keen on sports analytics, exploring data-driven insights in basketball and football. He is pursuing an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering at Özyeğin University, where he also earned his B.Sc. in the same field.

Ulvi Fındık, MSc

Ulvi’s work focuses on industrial optimization, decision analytics, and applied operations research, with hands-on experience in developing advanced scheduling and optimization solutions across diverse application domains. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University, after earning both his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Özyeğin University.
